What is love?

What is love?

Is it love when he pulls you in close when he’s about to kiss your forehead when he knows you’re having a bad day?

Or is it when he calls you pretty when you just wake up?

Can it be when he stays up late on the phone with you just to hear your voice?

What is love?

Is love when he sits in your driveway for 2 hours just to hear about your day?

Or is it when you two are driving around town and your favorite song starts playing and he starts singing it to you?

Can it be when he lets you sleep on his shoulder when you’re tired?

What is love?

Is love when he motivates you to finish your personal goals even when you don’t want too?

Or is it when he brings out the best version of yourself?

Can it be when he sees the best in you even on your worst days?

What is love?

Is it love when he says “we’re a team” after a bad argument?

Or is it when he says “it’s just a bump in the road, we just have to take it say by day.”

Can it be when he refuses to give up you despite everything you put him through?

What is love?

Is it love when he stops in the middle of what he’s doing just to give you a ride home?

Or is it when he invites you over for dinner to introduce you to his family?

Can it be when he surprise you with flowers and a card every once and a while?

what is love?

Is it love when he isn’t afraid to show you off?

Or is it when he asks you to slow dance in front of everyone?

Can it be when his eyes smile when he looks down at you?

What is love?

Is it love when he does whatever he can to make you both happy?

Or is it when He says “ I just want you to be happy even if it’s not with me.”

Can it be when you both know it’s over but he still wants to be friends?

What is love?

Love can be anything as long as it means something.

                                                                    Sincerely,

The girl who didn’t know what she had until it was too late.
