What Is Love?

What is love nowadays? Is it what we see on TV, or in the movies? Can you buy love? Or is it something you work for? Is love when you can look into that persons eyes and know full and well that no matter what happens they will be by your side through thick and thin and trials and tribulations. Is love when you know that person would go through hell and back just for you. When you know that no matter how hard you fall that person will always be there to pick you right back up. Or is love found in money, jewels, cars, or girls you pick up on the street. Is love found in how much you make? Or the color my skin might be? I ask cause the world we live in now blinds our eyes to the truth. The world tells us that to find love we must change who we are, and change who were meant to be. Its almost as if we are chained to this one idea of how love should be or feel. However I'm here to tell u that love isn't what we see but it's what we feel. It's how we act and interact with the people around us and more so the people close to us. Love is letting go of all the faults you see in someone and accepting their imperfections,and everything that makes them beautiful. For a wise man once said "love isn't a decision it's a feeling. If we could decide who we loved life would be a lot simpler but less magical".
