What Love is Simply Not
Excuse me,
But love is not a calamity,
It is not the sound of plates breaking on a nearby wall,
Or of a heart breaking on the ground,
It is not measurable,
But it is surely visible,
Love is not hidden behind a mask,
Love is not silenced,
Love is loyal and honest,
It is bright,
Not black and white,
Not on mute but on the highest decibal it can reach,
Because I love you,
Actions speak louder than words,
Because I love you,
I will entrust you with every facet that renders me vulnerable,
Because I love you,
I will expect that you respect me,
And trust me,
And love me too.
Because I love you,
I will find it easy to tell you about anything and everything,
And just because I love you,
Doesn't mean you're my bank account,
Because I love you,
I was built to carry all your feelings,
Excuse me,
But it's simple to love you.
