What makes me FLAWLESS

My mind, my mind, my mind

My mind makes me flawless

Although I be but weak

And I do not look like everyone else

Though I may be hated for my dark skin

Thick thighs and so called nappy hair

Even if I have been labled

A whore and a bitch

My mind makes me flawless

Although I have let myself

Be validated and looked upon

As a mere object

Though I have feint scars on my arms

Even if my spirit has been broken

Time and time again

My mind makes me flawless

Powerful, beautiful, and truthful

Because I know better than to treat other

The way they have treated me
