What Makes Me Happy

Early to bed, early to rise,

Will this really make me healthy, wealthy and wise?

My cross country training begins before daylight,

I run as I see the sun come up so bright.

Running makes me happy and free,

But, a runner is not all I can be.

I love to be around my family and friends,

I can always be myself, and never pretend.

History class is the best overall,

In that class, we really have a ball.

I am also a cheerleader for my favorite team.

All that dancing and jumping sure keeps me lean.

But, God is the most important thing in my life,

And, my prayer for a world without strife.
