What Makes Me Happy

Kaleb White

Spoken Word Poetry

Chris E. Lamb

What Makes Me Happy

Happiness for me is

Teaching the youth

Enjoying my time with loved ones

A fat steak with some veggies

Working out my mind and body

Watching Criminal Minds on my days off

Bike Rides along dirt roads

Sledding when it snows

Watching football on lazy Sundays

Long road trips with the family

Happiness is mowing the grass for mom

For two hours

Knowing

That you will not get paid a dime

But will get to see

The happy expression of a smile on her face

When you finish

And that makes it all worth it
