What Makes Me Happy?

The low tones of my cello Resonating through my own chest The harmonic accompany of the orchestra Sixteenth notes and eight notes Whole notes and quarter Half notes with dots And rests in no order Note after note Upbow then downbow Then a slur and a tie Staccato, legato, a musical rhyme No words to this song No idea of how long For I've lost track of time Minutes and seconds and hours All gone Here comes the repeat Back to beginning Play the first Then the second ending Vibrato this note Decrescendo Keep your arms up Til his hands go down Take a deep breath And clear you concentrating frown This is happiness.
