What Makes me Rich

College seems like a far away dream will I get to the finish line Can I afford it? can I buy more time? I will pay you in hugs and kisses i will pay you in ranting wishes I will pay you in laughter and smiles I will pay you by going thorught your trials Taking on your burden as my own Or maybe by writing you a poem i will pay you in in time i will pay you in grades I will pay you in paying attention to what you will say or have already said I will pay you with love and passion and vulnerability I will pay you with eyes that can see Ears that can hear and a mouth that can sooth With hands that can wipe away each tear. I will pay you in strength even when I have none left I will pay you in all that I am even my last breath!
