What Makes Me Tick

What is the biggest challenge in your life –
The thing that excites you and makes you feel refreshed?
The thing that makes you want to jump over the moon
Or the thing that makes you feel like you’ll swoon.
What makes you gasp and catch your breath
What makes you gaze in wonder
Or listen with rapt attention and gives you cause to ponder?
What’s the thing that makes your insides quiver and shake
Like it’s experiencing a major earthquake?
Or the thing that’s so exhilarating
That you feel like bursting out with loud singing?
What makes you get a huge old smile,
Creasing your face from ear to ear.
Or causes your forehead to show a frown
And your eyes to dilate in fear?
Just tell me the answer to all these things

Because I want to wrap you in my guardian wings.
