What is man?
Psalm 144:3 New King James Version (NKJV)
3 Lord, what is man, that You take knowledge of him?
Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him?
What is man?
What a question is that?
I know who I am.
Just ask me and I’ll let you know
no answers blowing in the wind.
Theories lead man into error
like building castles in the air.
Flying in eternal darkness
no answers blowing in the wind.
Intellect without guidance
is lost in many causes.
Butterflies a state of nerves
no answers blowing in the wind.
Confused about every issue
right and wrong entangled.
Lust, greed, and envy
no answers blowing in the wind.
The powers that rule now
enslave human beings.
Impossible to fight them
no answers blowing in the wind.
Maybe the only purpose
for the web, we’re weaving
brought us to this point
that no answers are blowing in the wind.
