What is a Mariah?

I am a kind, mixed child

I wonder if I will ever be excepted

I hear them talk about me

I see them laugh

I want to belong some where

I am kind, mixed child

I pretend everything is fine

I feel mixed emotions

I touch my hair when im nervous

I worry about who likes me

I cry on the inside

I am kind, mixed child

I understand I am a child of three races

I say I love my roots

I dream that one day it wouldnt matter

I try to speak spanish

I hope that people would not be so cruel

I am kind, mixed child
