What Meets the Eye

Beauty so fair

Pulchritudinous skies

Wilted roses, still beautiful in my eyes

Content sighs, cheerless night

Pure delights, in the eyes of the skies

Work of art in the branches above, standing still

containing no lies

The  mountain filled horizon with beautiful lights

Intriguing all eyes and finding a soft spot in mine

Blissful air, caressing my long black hair

Angelic waves playing slowly like a beautiful song

Clouds in the sky, not for too long, as the shore comes along to give back all the treasures that belong

Bird wings brushing the sky, as they fly, oh so very high

Beauteous stares, twinkling stars, oh how they both shine bright, yet are utterly lost

The sights are breath-taking containing no cost

Oh how beautiful is nature, it's painted all in your eyes
