What Might Be Love

i read into every word you say and every song you play and every face you make and i think one day i might bake you a wedding cake i’ll put my tears in the tiers because it tears me apart that our lives are intertwined but forever’s just an idea and i know we might part: i’ve never taken claim of your heart and perhaps you’ll have other wives but our lives right now are a gift of the present and if all i get is to coexist with you maybe thats enough
