What must be

Titus 1:15 

¹⁵ To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure;

 but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

What must be?

The prime expression of the soul must be consciousness.

Believers who are willing ... to lose themselves in Christ

To be delivered from self-centeredness pride and self-seeking

for these things must be destroyed ... no choice otherwise.

Self-consciousness is awareness in knowing who you are.

Where you fit in so to speak ... the one you know to be thus far.

A one-sided point of view with your own reference points

Reacting and reasoning within yourself a standard below par.

Intellect and emotion set the center stage

focusing all attention on self and self alone.

Even Jesus Christ Himself is made a spectator

and your will that silly thing ... makes of itself a clone.
