What My Future Holds

Who knows what my future may hold

Another mystery to ufold

As my life continues to pass away

I think about my future and what is there that awaits

I know there will come times of struggle

I know there will be times which I suffer

I know there will be times when everything goes wrong

I know there will be times that I long for home

I know that many storms shall pass

But I like to look at the brighter path

I know there will be times of joy

There will be times of peace

There will be times when I won't accept defeat

There will be times that I feel at home

There will be times where I stand strong alone

I'm not afraid of what my future may bring

For God has already created a plan

One that He'll guide me through with His unchanging hand

I'll keep my faith and never lose hope

Whatever God has for me, my future holds.
