What now?

Our society has a crack We have to back track because there is a lack Kids young as ten saying F this and F that They need to get to class and be tamed If they want to get some fame then why do they put themselves to shame There once was respect All that's left is a doppler effect, Waves of wreck from the one coast to the next The dream of a perfect future smashed to pieces What can we do to protect our visions When all things are going downstream, When all self esteem is gone, When our color schemes turn gray, We can only pray that a jet stream of hope beams light years away Maybe we can join teams Maybe there is a cure Surely we know what to do, Some of us try, but do you?
