What Once Was, What Now Is
What once was, what now is
Lost in each other, how it should have been
Times long gone and time to ascend
We will be together, at least in the end
Burning hatred of the past now churns
Long lost love no longer does it burn
Nor shall I ever experience that bliss
For with you gone I can no longer kiss
To be happy and to be glee
Is what others wish for me
One day very soon our wishes stay true
For I can only be happy with you
