*What Others Don't Know*

I know.

I know what you think about me.

I know what you say about me.

You think I'm worthless.

Pathedic.

Useless.

I hear all of it.

You set up all of these expectations.

I can't hold up to them.

I'm not special.

I don't have many talents.

And yet you still hope.

I still try.

But I fall.

I fail.

And you yell.

You say it's for my best.

You say you're a pretty good parent.

I laugh.

Because I know what others don't.

I'm just here to, at the very least, be heard without having people around me giving me sympathy. Don't get to caught about what my poems mean. I don't rhyme. I don't stick to a theme. I write when I need to get something off of my chest and that's it. I don't take the time to use a type of poetry so just deal with it. These are my stories and my life.
