What Poetry Is All About

Poetry is an escape.

An escape from reality.

To write poetry

Is to bring to being

Your imagination

That has been hiding

From reality.

When a sentence will not do,

Poetry will tell it for You!

Where reality lacks,

Poetry will take up the slack!

Poetry is a way

For you to say

What reality cannot!

So go crazy!

Reality matters not!

Set your imagination free!
