What Poetry Means to Me?

What poetry means to me, I'm searching for that answer Is it something I use to escape? Is it something I use to feel? Or is it something I use to become extraordinary? And then I've found my answer Is everything, to feel, to escape, to be extraordinary To dream, to seek things that are out of this world To have something you longed for but you can't have because you don't deserve it or is just not real To relive something that made you happy because don't remember the last time you felt happy Though all of this I found my true answer To be free To be whole To be myself
