what power poetry means to me

an outlet an alternative to express myself without being judged upon it's not like anyone puts fear in my heart i'm fearless a door that opened up to me to be me something that helps expands my mind it's more therapeutic than a mental health patient hearing a boring lecture from one's counselor or who ran out of patience finding answers to one's problem recommended to me by a group of friends who directed the film " to be heard" they said to me to give myself a chance and express, write and recite to demographically impact the world everyone who views my poems provide me feedback this is why i keep writing to be the absolute best and stand out from the rest i thank you roland i thank you amy for this opportunity (we met a year ago) i write i recite i perform i'm known as m.v.p most valuable poet i'm becoming a legend i took that baton and ran with it
