and an obsession

love says, "I want you to stay."

obsession says, "Don't you dare leave."

love says, "Text me when you get home. Be safe."

obsession says, "Where are you? I'm coming to get you."

love says, "Tell your friends I said hi!"

obsession says, "Who are you with? You aren't with him again, are you?"

love hurts

but never on purpose

never like obsession will

this doesn't mean love is sunshine and rainbows

a healthy relationship is till full

of fighting

and tears

and everything else that is messy

in an unhealthy relationship

you scream until your lungs give out

in a healthy relationship

you scream until your heart gives out
