What Remains of Choice
One decision can change everything.
The choice to doubt instead of trust,
the choice to fear instead of love.
When your eyes fell upon what was meant to be hidden,
when the trust you shared shattered and ran into the night.
Yet, despite it all, something remains—
a new beginning, a second chance.
Washing your hands of the past,
letting gentle words replace the weight of shame.
The warmth of unknown kindness,
offering a mercy never before known.
