What is sadness

Who questions me?

Is it myself?

Is it them?

The outer world?

I poured my heart to them

To girls

To the swirly culture I thought they had

My happiness won’t last

My sadness does

Backwards as it may

I’m comprised of slugs

We race in mud to our destiny

My sweet victory is at the end

But when will the fun begin?

Friends family faith fitness

A rule book in the Guinness

My heart knows better

Than to believe that

I am good as long as they are

I am myself when they leave too

I’m not hiding

I’m disguising

Myself into what I wanna be

And what I am

 I’m not really happy

Sam I Am
