What Is School?

Come, seat, take out your notebook

Take note, don't forget homework

At the end of the semester,

Bring back your textbook

Is that school?

If you fight, you'll get suspended

If you miss classes, you'll get excluded

No eating, no drinking

Make up work, these are class rules

Is that school?

Some teacher, at least, know what is school

School is all about learning

Not only math, science, and history

But also life's reality

That is school.

A place you learn to grow, and be mature

Make friends, and explore other people's world

A place you can get advice

Even when things are though at home

That is school.

A place where you are happy to go to

A place where you are safe

A place that wouldn't exist without you

A place where you have value

That is school.
