what separates and associates

I am a descendant of the stars.
I am a lover. I am the result of seventeen years of worldly experience.
I am the one with scars.
I am the human with six-foot deep bags under their eyes
but

I will cease to be me
the day
the corners of my mouth
don't reach the dark pits beneath the windows
to my own soul
(that Abaddon often confuses for the angel's abyssal home)
when I smile.
