What She Didn't Know
"Irene, my girl, let's give it a whirl
Let's try our hand at this
Or rather, to be crude, or blunt
Our bodies and our hips
Do you think I'll need a condom?
Probably not, you're about to bleed
You'll start next week, but if all goes well
You'll start tonight in the sheets
Here, I'll take your pants off
Do you like what I'm doing now?
Shit, how does this work?
You're not as wet as I thought you would be
Oh, and you don't shave...
Well, maybe next time you'll be clean
But I'm not going down on you tonight
That'd be disgusting
Why are you cringing?
This is supposed to be fun...
I thought girls sighed and moaned
When they lost their virginity
Oh my god, the sheets are going to be stained!
What will my mom say when she sees?
God, this night didn't go as planned
I didn't even get off, Irene"
She lay awake, naked in bed
Lying next to her frustrated lover
The whole ordeal hadn't been as grand
As either one had expected
But in the movies, the girls look happy
And the guy always knows what to do
I figured he'd know how to make it all work
Since he watches so much porn
Irene fell asleep with her back to Dean
And awoke to him shaking her shoulders
"You have to go, we slept too long
My mom will wake up any minute!"
She crawled out the window and snuck to her house
In the bathroom she took off her clothes
There was blood in her pants
It dripped on her toes
She took a long shower, sore and frustrated
She didn't care if she got to class late
Dean would no doubt tell all of his friends
That they did it, and he was a natural
She sighed and she hoped that the next time would be
Somehow better, enjoyable for her
But she didn't know that for two months she'd groan
Not in pleasure, but pain in the sheets
No one told her about her own body
No one warned her of the pain
All expected her to love sex
Because that's what women are for -
We're all just sexy boy toys
