What She Saw

I wonder what she saw when she met me
A creature

A monster

A scared child

An insane man

I was all of those things at once and too much more

There wasn't a thing in my mind but hurt and pain

There wasn't anything that could get me to do anything

But she was kind and she cared

And she saved me

She didn't have to save me

But she did

I don't know if I deserved saving
