what they didnt know
I have a story that no one knows
A painful secret that continues to grow
17 years I spent hiding the pain
All because of my shame
My demons know how to fight
But they are never in your site
What you don’t know
Could make the tears over flow
I was just a little girl so scared and small
With no one to turn to at all
School was going to be my happy place
But you guys did not meet me with a warm embrace
If only you knew
what I went through
Maybe I could’ve gotten help
Instead of having to yelp
Its time to tell
That ive been through hell
Punch after punch
Not getting lunch
Drugs were always around
They made my parents drowned
I witnessed to much
And got touched
He was a grown man
With a vicious plan
He raped me
Even though I plea
His screams could bust your ear drums
We always lived in slums
He took all of our money
And thought it was funny
His first were like stones
That chilled me to the bone
The spit flew from his lips
I was close enough to feel the drips
If only you knew
What I went through
Maybe you would be kind
And not so blind
