Teachers are blind.

There is so much they don't see.

So much they don't understand.

About us,

The students.

"Getting to know you" activities aren't fun,

They're uncomfortable.

Homework doesn't help us.

It teaches us to stress,

To panic,

To fail.

Speaking projects are anxiety inducing,

Confidence breaking,

Embarrassing.

What teachers don't know is,

That these activities are pointless.

They don't help us,

They hinder.

Teachers teach us:

Fear,

Anxiety,

Low self worth.
