What They See

What do they see?

They don’t see me for my heart for they believe it to be irrelevant to do so

I am like a shadow that crosses the dark path

I am pain in their wound

I am the eclipse of the sun

They don’t know me, they know me for what they hear

I scream for a voice, no one hears

I scream in pain, no one aided

I scream to be heard, no one listened

They say I am different, I reply ‘true, for everyone is’

I am no different from you, I have a life

I am no different from you, I also have a dream

I am no different from you, all humans are unique

Don’t listen to what they say, come see the truth, everyone is unique
