What is Time?

Can you tell me what is time?

Is it something from the mind?

Or is it of a different stature?

Some integral part of nature?

Is it even something real?

Something that helps our old wounds heal?

Or is it simply the relation

Of events in animation?

Would there be any time at all

If everything came to a stall?

Will we ever truly know

The reason for its ebb and flow?

If there is no answer to this rhyme,

Then was reading it a waste of time?
