What is time
Time is something we wish would pass faster but we want it back when we run out of it. time is something that we all take for granted because at the moment we believe have so much of it. But in the end we wish we had a machine to give us all our time back. Time is like sour patch kids, it's Sour,Sweet,Gone, Time is sour because when it's Friday at school and all you can think about is getting out of there to go out with your friends for another Friday night. Time is sweet when you are out with your friends having fun, cracking jokes and making memories that will stay with you forever! Time is gone when you are sitting in a hospital bed hair turned gray, surrounded by doctors and nurses . Knowing that this is the last thing you will see.
(actual meaning of time)
Time is a noun that means a limited period or interval as between two successive events. The word time is a mixture of a old English word tima and the English word tide. The word Tima is traced to the indo-european base. A point in time is measured by a minute, second or an hour. It can be measured by long periods also (day, month ,year etc...). Time has a lot of meaning in knowledge and in just general knowings, maybe if we learned more about how fragile it is we wouldn't take it for granted
(father time)
Did you know time had personification? His name is Father time, if you have ever watched the Santa clause movies he is in one or two of them when they have a meeting, He’s the old guy skinny guy with the long white beard and wings. Father Time represents times one way movement. Father time derives from several sources like for example the grim reaper and the misattributation Cronus who I personally have not heard of till writing this essay but he is a

Greek titan of human time. Towards the end of the year father time as personification of the previous year hands the new year off to the baby
new year as personification of the new year! And this repeats every year as the new year comes around so in some kind since we all start out a new year not knowing what the future will hold like a baby does not know what the future holds for them and by the end of the year we know what has happened and have grown and formed in our own way.
(Why do we take time for granted?)
We take time for granted a lot especially at a young age because we don't know how fragile time is we don't have a clock saying when we will die and no matter how many test we take on Facebook I really don't think I'm going to die by having a rock roll over me. And I also don't think it can tell me that I will die on a certain day at a certain time but if they do I need to find the person who wrote it and have them give me some answers to some of these test! But we spend too much time dwelling on the past when we need to be looking in the present and having fun with our life now! Because time is precious we cant keep it forever. But most people don't realize that and that's why we take it for granted.
( Final what is time?)
time is money I am sure you have heard that quote before but I don't think this quote is accurate enough because in my opinion time is not money they are two total different things money can be lost and wasted but you can always recover it or make more. But time you cant time is not something you can get back with a little bit of work once its gone its gone. Time is precious and fragile like a new born baby , you never know what it has in store for you so don't set around waiting it go live in the moment go make some memories because when that time is gone you cant get it back and all you have left are those memories. Enjoy it while you can until its too late and time is gone.
