What time may bring

The moment we open are eyes

our brain starts to function

to function is to recall information and maneuver our thoughts

but when we are small and the whole world is tall

we don't think otherwise and focus on our thoughts

but as time runs away from our hands

we focus on our conditions more often

and to that was when we start to understand how the world really runs

it isn't filled with delight and joy but with cruelty and fear

my little home was perfect to me

was perfect before time slipped out of my hands

the living souls who raised me and thought me about the world

became the ones who started showing me the true colors

that the world had withhold through my naked eye

They'd barked like wild dogs

and weighted rainclouds in their eyes would signify

that all the beauty in the world was a disguise from what it really was

scars were written within her mind

the yelling became the only noise she could hear

and when she closed her eyes the past images of here old life would rain on her

the content girl that she was before became a girl who faked her smile and a blurred memory

The girl who lost all the joy in the world
