What true love really is

I don't think that anyone can describe what true love really is,
It is so wonderful,
Words can't even describe how much your heart has been filled.
Some people don't even know yet,
But when they do they will know how happy they truly can be.
My love is strange, challenging, but so magnificent.
His voice sounding like the sweet juices of honeysuckle,
But at the same time his laugh sounding like a donkey’s cry.
Being in his warm arms full of safety and affection,
But his hands feeling like old wood, coarse and rough.
He can act natural around me,
And man is he the biggest weirdo,
But I love him,
So much.
He can cry around me and I can hold him till he is ok again,
And I can do the same around him.
He makes me laugh just from the faces he makes,
Oh…….. and his jokes too.
When I think about it, I keep thinking that he has been with me all of my life,
But really it's only just started,
I have a whole life ahead of me.
And it will be with him.
Even while writing this poem,
I smile,
Thinking about him,
Seeing him in my mind,
Laughing,
Making me happy,
And all he has to do is be there for me and that puts a smile on my face.
Even if he tries he can't crawl out of my brain,
He will be with me,
In my head,
And in my heart,
Forever,
And always,
I swear.
