What was is gone
What was is gone
Your love is my warmth
Like the sun against my skin
Your touch is my drug
Speeding my heart with pleasurable sin
But all things in this world must come to an end
As my life did when I became just a friend
Now life is endless pain
Everywhere I see you
Whispers of your name
I spend my nights alone in tears
Watching as your love for me simply disappears
The warmth now vanished from my skin
Your love no longer a pleasurable sin
