What was left out of disaster

Who peers out the window waiting in fear for A moment? A moment that confirms eternity- inferno or haven Starting an ending is a start Ending a start is an end But where hope once was grows into permanence Shut eyes, tight throat, and memories condensed and sunken That heart is the only buoyant lifesaver when everything else weigh heavily Look out the window now people are spirits invisible for your two small peeping eyes to search But when others feel the breeze rush up Their selves chip away no more greed and instead The grains of people leave and what was left out Of the moment
