What was Love?

They told me they knew what was love To me it looked just like hate. They said it was free like a dove That it came about by fate. I think it's all lies Something to ease the mind. Iv'e never seen it with my own eyes Maybe Iv'e been walking around blind. I don't know how to see it though. Can someone show me Isn't it supposed to sparkle like untouched snow Does it make you feel free I want to know how love feels Iv'e heard it heals

Let your smile change the world. Don't let this world change your smile.

Excellent work here my friend. All forms of love truly do heal. I think you captured the beauty of such a wonderful question in your poem. Love is key feeling and to be honest we need more of it in the world. Your poem was a breath of fresh air because I often ask the same questions.
