What We Are Capable Of

Standing there where we all were once before We look back at our moms and dads walked out the door Growing up didn't seem to be so bad at the time But then you wake up and whole world's crying You think back to when it seemed so right Now everyday you're just waiting for the night light We point at someone else to blame But we're all playing the same game Growing up now didn't seem so good Until you look at the things you could Put them in the past Save it till last Now is the time when we all should shine Show them what we are and what is mine Cause this land and these people are born to fight We are in it for love and we'll give it all our might When the day is done It may not be all fun When you look forward and see you kids You can stand tall as you told them you never hid Backing down wasn't an option to you As it came down to the chosen few Look now what I have made Land where no one else's attention had paid Now our land is free and it all started in May Because you were one of the few that left on that day
