What Will Be Will Be

Often in life things seem uncertain,

The everyday struggles can be a burden.

We stress and stress,

Have nights with no rest.

But what will be, will be.

On days when the sun shines bright,

Even in the darkest of night,

We have no control.

Though the illusion is a goal.

But what will be, will be.

The truth seems morose,

Since so many of us boast.

“I have the bigger home.”

“I make more than you and your husband alone.”

But possessions can be destroyed in a second.

And what will be, will be.
