Without poetry,

If I couldn’t write,

I wouldn’t be me,

Poetry is my voice,

Poetry is my outlet,

Poetry is my heartbeat,

Poetry is the only explanation you’ll get,

I wouldn’t be me,

If I couldn’t write,

Without poetry,

Life wouldn’t feel right,

Poetry is how i love,

Poetry is my everything,

From how i show affection to how i show pain,

Poetry helps make life worth living,

What would I be,

Without poetry,

If I couldn’t write,

I wouldn’t be me,

Poetry is my voice,

Poetry is the only way I’ll be heard,

Poetry is me,

And poetry will always come first,

I wouldn’t be me,
