What Would I Change

Written by Michelle Guex

Music is sacred

Music is influential

It can make us feel hatred

It can be essential

One note could speak a thousand words

What we hear, we take in

Even some lyrics may be slurred

like those of a rap song may be a sin

Although, there are many types of music

Not all is good

Even when sung in the style of acoustic

Now if you would

Please, be aware of what you hear

For what you accept can be of no light

Make sure the lyrics are clear

Even though it may bring you delight
