What would I change

As I step out my front door, I would change the colors in which people see in. The need to label things in colors of red, white and blue, I would change the boundaries in which we are placed in. As a female, I wish to find my wings and soar and break that glass ceiling which contains my fellow others; to be let out in to a world where the lines of hatred, racisms and sexism do not exist.  I wish to confide in the words of world peace. Like a young adolescent, new and promising, I wish that my faith actually last to achieve this. I hope that it does not burn out like a candle but rather it burns for eternity as a beacon of hope and happiness.  And that it one day be an inspiration and bathe it’s warm light on others.

I wish to change what the daughters of our world see when they look in the mirror. I want them to be strong and see what beautiful swans they are. I wish that they too one day have the strength to find their wings and fly to their purpose in life. I want them to look out their front door and have the education and bravery to change what they see. A world without hate, for I come from a world where hate reigns in ones emotion. A world united. For I come from a world where we battle for power. I ask myself, what is an American, a Mexican, or a Chinese? For all I see is a human being. I see intelligence and compassion, I see culture and determination.  WIth all these kept in mind, you can say that this girl wants to change the world.
