What would I change, if

What would I change, if I could?

Society, and their constant phrase, "You should."

"You need", "You want", "You don't", "You can't"

If you listen, it's a constant chant

If you don't look good in Society's eyes

They will make you change by telling you lies

You need to do this

You need to do that

Society rules, and that's a fact

It's how you look

It's how you act

It's what people think, and that's that

You're too much of this

And not enough of that

It's a happy medium that you lack

STOP!

Hey! Society!

Do me a favor, just look and see.

Don't you get it? I want to be me!
