What Would You Change?

What would you change, if given the choice?

Would you change the texture of your hair? The sound of your voice?

Would you like a new car? Or maybe a new house?

Maybe change your siblings? Possibly change your spouse?

Or would you go big, go bold, and throw caution out the door?

Would you ask for world peace? No more fighting, no war.

Could you change all the people, from hungry to full?

It’s not that hard to do. Just a little push and a pull.

I’d bet you’d change a lot if you could.

If given the opportunity, I bet the changes you’d make would be good.

Well, what would I change? The answer is clear.

And though it may sound simple, my answer is sincere.

I would change people’s attitudes, and I’d change them real fast

I’d have them put all their anger and fears in the past.

In order to move forward, we need a big dose of love.

But this feeling comes from within you, and not from above.

If we could just get everyone to love and not hate

Then we could start to change the world. Hurry up! It isn’t too late.
