What Would You Change

For years and years I have been told

That i should fear getting old

My beauty will wane

I won't be sane

And that while I can

I should be tan

I should starve and be so thin

That I am nothing but bones and skin

Wear make-up and curl my hair

Just to makes the boys stare

But that's not how I choose to be

That life is not for me

So when I am asked what I would change

I simply reply "Not a single thing"
