Have you even wondered why the world is full of corruption and sin,
Why man and woman judge by their gender or the colour of their skin.
And If no one two people are alike or share a common interest
They have to be insane or embodied by the demons they possessed.
Who came up with such an idea that one is lame
They walk funny and talk funny so we condem them strange.
I picture a world where God is in complete control
Where no need for fear for black males in police patrols.
Life is lighter, much less of a struggle,
Parents (unable to bear children) to orphans they can cuddle,
The air is full of life that it hasn't felt in years,
Tip your hats to the sober man that took a stand to drugs and beer
The birds sing along to the blind man's song
Fellas that get give money and right wrongs
And for the first time in a long time the world is given a second chance
Shady acres and frost meadows are the poor man's advance.
These moments in which we're kinder and gentler to one another
To treat us equal and to stand up to the hand of big brother
Always watching you, lerking, and invading your privacy
Then having the nerve, with head held high, call this democracy.
Do it for the soldiers that have fallen for the sake of our safety
The parents maybe relative that passed away lately
Do it for the children following artist lead by the pill
Dead of narcotics, gang violence, before theirs and prayer had time to heal
Pour one fah thah homie shot up by these sick moe foes
And toast to our mothers, daughters, sisters we so quick to call hoes
For Harriet, Surgenor, Rosa, and Dr. King
For air worth breathing,
Life worth living,
Sites worth seeing,
The Hispanic stereotypes in difficulty trying to be US.
Even the Jewish that endured the cruelty their ancestors gave Jesus.
A perfect world without sin is too much to ask
We are wrong in many ways but stones are being casted
If it were, I could relive the unnecessary norms
This is God's world, our world gets swallowed by the storms.
