What would you do?

Dear parent's,

What if I told you,

I cry myself to sleep?

The tear's stain my pillow

and leave streak's down my face.

What if I told you, 

I cut myself to feel.

The sting of cold metal, burning.

And the blood running down my arm's.

I can only do so much on my own.

I can only deal with so much on my own.

I know that once I do this,

there is no coming back. 

If I asked you,

Can you see me?

Will you see my pain, 

or do you only see my mask?

If I asked you,

Can you hear me?

Will you answer with one word, 

or do you ignore me?

If I asked you,

Can you save me?

Will you run from my plea,

or do you see the dying spark in my lost soul?

I can only do so much on my own.

I can only deal with so much on my own.

I know that once I do this,

there is no coming back.

If I told you,

I have a plan to end it all.

To let the wind whip away all the pain,

To let the memories fall away,

As the ground rushes to catch what's left.

What would you do?

If I told you, 

I want to kill myself.

To watch my blood pour to the ground. 

To see the color drain out.

To feel my life slip out of reach. 

I can only do so much on my own.

I can only deal with so much on my own. 

I know that once I do this,

there is no coming back.

Once I pull out that weapon,

I can't put it back.

I can't grow that skin back.

I can't grow that bone back.

I can't grow that life back.
