What To Write

I sit, ready to write on the blue lines,

they hold my pen and guide me to tell my story,

but which tale do I tell when the world is on my mind?

I think time will tell, but i'd rather pick now then have to scurry.

Do I write about school,

about my melancholy happiness of graduating

and looking back at myself to realize I was a fool?

No, that would mean a lot of elaborating.

Do I write about my friends,

how much I cherish who and what they are

and that I hope me and them never end?

No, there's no need to speak, like gazing at the stars.

I'll write about my family,

the foundation of what I am,

granted there is a healthy dose of calamity.

Yeah, that's perfect, their love and support with a pen, will lead to something grand.
