What you didn't know Mathidle
You came to Colerain
Without any idea of the culture, or knowing anyone.
You came to the U.S. with high hopes.
Wanting to travel the world, and understand our culture.
Your smile bright, your mood happy.
You touched our lives, without knowing.
Your dreams and future were cut quite short.
Due to a semi-truck.
Finding out you passed, was a nightmare come true.
I couldn’t believe that you bid this world adieu.
Cried I did, I didn’t understand.
How could god do this? What was his plan?
Having you in gym class, I considered a blessing.
Now I’ll have to wait to see you in heaven.
I know you’ll be with me, I’ll feel your presence.
You have impacted my life so much.
Mathidle I’ll miss you,
And although you did pass.
But alive you will stay,
in all of our hearts.
